leadership

Sri Hari Vithal extolled Truth as very high, he considered truthful living as the Highest. By his own personal example, he sparkled like a bright ray of hope in dizzyingly distorted, agonizingly cynical times, corroded by unbridled commercialism and eroding humanism in every sphere of life. In today’s ironical hi-tech rat race, when Education is sold in rapacious ‘shops’ in metered doses, at pre-tagged rates controlled by the lecherous industrialists, it would be acutely difficult even to imagine today an exemplary Teacher and role model like Sri Hari Vithal.

Sri Hari Vithal had always been a passionate practitioner of the call of his ordained duty, for whom work had been the real worship. His impeccable character, righteousness, integrity, conscientiousness, grit and determination had ushered in a refreshingly new culture in many Government Colleges in the state. He was able to infuse responsiveness and service ethic into the functioning of the institutions infested with chronic apathy, entrenched malpractices and marred by bureaucratic red tape.

The city police could have a deep respite for several years during his tenure, which otherwise used to be on their highest qui-vive.
