Profession-Passion in Unison

profession

Sri Hari Vithal was a man who pursued his life’s mission with extraordinary zeal. He knew his passion, discovered his calling early and scripted his path clearly. He realized his inherent proclivity and predilection to teach. He nurtured his great passion and intrinsic signature strength to inspire people. He chose the work he loved and performed it as worship. He lived by it and he breathed by it. He manifested the fullness of his talents and gave his best to create positive difference to others. He was an outstanding example of the ‘Vritti’ (Profession) and ‘Pravritti’ (Passion) being in perfect unison and as such attained an effortless equilibrium between them.

Work as Worship

work

He worked with zest and joy, ultimately surrendering to the Almighty. He always enjoyed the calmness and serenity of the mind and heart and no distracting emotions could cloud his mind. He had always focused on the higher value, the end impact of his contribution and had never been myopic with the now and here. His actions were never by his comfort and convenience but were always by his courage of conviction that drove his life. He was a rare, paradoxical blend of great professional will and high personal humility. An earnest idealist, emblematic of virtue, a signet of character and commitment, he led a highly purposeful and selfless life. His work itself was his spiritual practice, and life itself was his prayer.

A Man of Consequence

man
He was never a ruminating philosopher but was always a man of action and consequence. He had an unwavering resolve to do what must be done. He could maintain exceptional emotive and expressional élan in trying circumstances and strode like a titan against all the obstacles. Forty years of chronic diabetes, number of accidents, strokes and heart ailments could at best tire him a bit to pause on the spiritual high road. He never lost his supreme self-confidence and never got dispirited. Purposeful, virile and strong he held on his own. His discourses continued to spring their magic and infuse unflagging energy in many, to help themselves renew, replenish and rediscover. He could perceive blessings in all the travails and became the change he endeavored to see the most around him. He remained as one against none.

Inscribing an Example into The Eternity

Throughout his life, he was so immersed in his Mission that he had lost sense of time and sense of self. He did not build any material possessions in his lifetime, but could inscribe an example into eternity and left an immortal legacy for many generations to cherish. He mastered his time, lived fully and purposefully. He received number of honors, awards, citations and facilitations all across the country and deserved many more. Much beyond all these, love and adoration of thousands.

His soul set sail leaving the physical sheath, to rest in the unified expanse of Oneness with ‘Him’, while chanting Sree Vishnu Sahasranamam- in Sri Seetha Rama Kalyana Mantapam of Sri Kasi Visweswara Swamy Temple in Vijayawada on the 11 April 2007
